It should just work after that, there was no guide for this and I just kinda figured it out as I went along, The Sims 1 is my all time favourite game so I needed it handheld mode, hope this helps other people enjoy it on the go. I added Lutris to steam, but you can also ask Lutris to add The Sims as a Steam shortcut.
Navigate to the C drive lutris has created in Games and swap Sims.exe with the one in the cracked folder. Once this is all completed, quit out and don't run the game just yet. Download The Sims 2: Super Collection for macOS 10.12.6 or later and enjoy it on your Mac. It will then ask for 'setup.exe' which is contained in the setup folder of the sims collection, run this and Lutris will create/install everything you need for the sims to run. Read reviews, compare customer ratings, see screenshots, and learn more about The Sims 2: Super Collection.
It will install the specific version of Wine needed to run the sims so let it download. Once setup, in Lutris click the top left 'install game via lutris web browser' and search for 'The Sims', click the top selection and press install.
Unzip the folders and put it somewhere safe (I did this via PC and copied it over)Äownload Lutris via the Discover tab in Desktop Mode Install it, it will say you need to run a command in Konsole, copy the command and erase '-user' from it (as its a Lutris error) and run the command to install the correct dependencies to get Lutris to run (without having to run more complicated and potentially dangerous commands) Google search for 'The Sims Complete Collection Download' and download the one from Archive, it contains everything you need including a no-cd patch.
